Plane ownership isn't just for when pigs... or rather peccary... fly.
Flying club located in Tucson, AZ, in the beautiful Sonoran Desert
Flying Javelina Aero-Club is a small group of like-minded pilots, looking to own planes and have high-access for trips, but wanting to share the cost of ownership. Fixed costs like hangar, insurance, subscriptions, and maintenance -- they all add up! We also believe there is wisdom in pilots grouping together to improve our skills and safety. Most of the group are family fliers, trusting the equipment with the lives of the pilots and the families they love.
We are seeking additional members to add to the group in phases, as the club continues to grow. If you resonate with what this group is intended for and would like to join the squadron , please reach out to us! Contact us by emailing contact@flyingjavelina.org, or find us on facebook.
Flying Javelina Aero-Club is a registered 501(c)(7) non-profit in AZ.
We currently have one family-hauler aircraft and are open to expanding, if sufficient membership demand is available. We are also interested in aircraft that might not ordinarily be available at flight clubs. Mooney? Twin? Club-built experimental?
